The West Bond Spur is a short trail from the Bondcliff Trail to the west summit of Mount Bond. The footway is generally better than any of the trails that you could use to get there, and grades are moderate except for the last pitch to the summit. The summit of West Bond is a rock ledge with views in all directions, particularly of the Franconia Range and The Cliffs of Mount Bond.

From the Bondcliff Trail, the West Bond Spur angles gradually downward on a narrow path, then turns L to run level into the flattish col. The trail now ascends the ridge to the summit, at first gradually and then more steeply. There is a large cairn on the summit, and views in all directions.

Map Notes: The USGS map does not show this trail, or label West Bond as that is an unofficial name
