The Rollins Trail connects the summits of Mount Whiteface and Mount Passaconaway. There is only moderate overall change in elevation but some rough walking including ledge scrambling.
Distance: From Blueberry Ledge Trail near Mount Whiteface to Diceys Mill Trail near Mount Passaconaway, about 2.3 miles one-way
Elevation gain: About 300 feet, about 900 feet in reverse

The trail is located in the SE corner of Waterville Valley and usually approached from NH Route 113-A near Wonalancet
West End: Ledges at junction of Blueberry Ledge and McCrillis Trails near summit of Mount Whiteface, elevation about 4000 feet
East End: Junction with Dicey Mill Trail below East Loop, elevation about 3380 feet

The next section is generally downhill with some small cliffs but mostly walking on duff, sidehill with some outlooks to The Bowl on the R. Then there is a rough up-and-down section followed by a flattish section to the Diceys Mill Trail.
