Description

From the junction with the Blueberry Ledge Trail and McCrillis Trail, the Rollins Trail descends briefly and then passes over a small knoll and descends more to the junction with the Kate Sleeper Trail at .1 miles. The shelter formerly located here, Camp Shehadi, was removed due to Wilderness policies. The Rollins Trail ascends modestly to another knoll at .3 miles which is the traditional peakbagger summit of Mount Whiteface, but the former sign has been removed.

The next section is generally downhill with some small cliffs but mostly walking on duff, sidehill with some outlooks to The Bowl on the R. Then there is a rough up-and-down section followed by a flattish section to the Diceys Mill Trail.
