The Mizpah Cutoff runs from the Crawford Path to the Webster Cliff Trail near the AMC Mizpah Spring Hut. It is part of the shortest and easiest route to the hut from any road, and being entirely in trees is relatively sheltered.

The trail is located NE of US Route 302 at Crawford Notch, between Twin Mountain and Conway
Lower End: Crawford Path about 2.0 miles from parking lot, elevation about 3400 feet
Upper End: Webster Cliff Trail about .1 miles from AMC Mizpah Spring Hut, elevation about 3800 feet

From the junction with the Crawford Path, the Mizpah Cutoff continues to climb steadily, then levels off with minor ups and downs. At .7 miles, the trail turns sharp R and descends slightly to the Webster Cliff Trail. The AMC Mizpah Spring Hut is about .1 miles to the L.
