There are many Bald Mountains in New Hampshire: this one is in Antrim and much of the mountain is in the dePierrefeu-Willard Pond Wildlife Sanctuary or on other protected lands. While the summit ledges are overgrown and offer no views, there are view ledges on the way up. The Bald Mountain Trail runs from the Tudor Trail near the shore of Willard Pond to the flattish summit, with the Tamposi Trail entering near the top, allowing a loop hike.
Distance: About .8 miles to summit one-way

The Bald Mountain Trail leaves L from the Tudor Trail about .7 miles from the parking lot, following red blazes. It wanders over rough ground and crosses a small brook before climbing more steeply, including one pitch up a gully where some of the log steps have rotted away. It continues to the ridge where at .5 miles it joins the yellow-blazed Tamposi Trail which enters from the L. (About .1 miles L down the Tamposi Trail is a large ledge overlooking Willard Pond.)
The two trails continue together to the summit with dual blazing, staying to the L side of the ridge until they reach a ledge with some old stonework which offers views S. The trail then climbs more directly uphill to the ridge which it follows L to a viewless ledge with a cairn at .8 miles where the red markers for the Bald Mountain Trail end. The Tamposi Trail continues ahead, shortly passing another viewless ledge of about the same elevation.
Access road plowed, along with some of the parking lot
